Análisis ex antes y ex post de la implementación de un sistema financiero administrativo en la Empresa Pública Municipal de Transito de Guayaquil.

Abstract:

The ATM Company’s growth made the operation and analysis of the information became complex, delaying processes and the information financial records would be manuals and few reliable. Consequently, the ATM Company integrated an ERP administrative financial system to improve processes and the operational efficiency in the organization. Focus on the financial department as a critical point by cause of its manual and few reliable records. The purpose of this research is to analyze the implementation of an ERP administrative financial system and its relationships with the operational efficiency through inferential techniques. The research design is descriptive of non-experimental cross sectional character. The type of the research is quantitative and retrospective of correlational scope and deductive logic. The sample is focused on the financial department with forty collaborators. The source of the information is primary with a survey of eleven items with a five point Likert scale, which measure the operational efficiency pre and post ERP implementation. The results showed that, there is a difference between the after and before of an information management system implementation. Therefore, it is concluded that operational efficiency was positively affected after of the ERP implementation. It is suggested for further research, integrate other variables of organizational interest that can measure the intangible improvements and their financial impact granted by the information management system.
