Sistema experto para el razonamiento juridico basado en casos para la toma de decisiones en delitos penales en Ecuador

Abstract:

Frequently making a fair decision about a crime becomes an arduous task for the jurists who are part of the process. This is because this decision is subjective, where there exists partial clarity of the fact that is judged, there may be a lack of information, contradictory opinions, among other characteristics that may leave doubts about the fairness of the decision to be made. The present investigation proposes the design of an Expert System that supports and does not replace the final decision of the jurists on a criminal act. For this end, the method of Artificial Intelligence known as Case-Based Reasoning (CBR) is proposed, which mimics the ability of human beings to solve new problems that arise from similar some ones previously resolved. In the present investigation, the Neutrosophic AHP technique is applied to determine the importance of each of the evaluation criteria, if a particular case should to be quantitatively evaluated. There will be a Case Base to compare the new case with previous ones and the probability of winning it. Measurement scales will be used in form of linguistic terms.
