Abstract:

This research describes the development process in the cattle management system at “La Maria” farm, located in Lasso, Tanicuchí parish, Latacunga Canton, Cotopaxi Province. The farm generates information on the cattle management process, one of the difficulties identified is that the records are taken manually, causing losses in the documents, so the lack of integrated and accurate information does not allow knowing the actual state of the data. Due to this problem, it was proposed the development of a computer system to manage the cattle process through the use of free software tools. For the agility in the system development process, the SCRUM methodology was used, which is oriented to the construction of software, which will facilitate its progress. This agile process was chosen, since it works through the iterative life cycle, since it has stages of: Analysis, Design, Implementation and Tests, In the first two phases mentioned above you can add concrete ideas with respect to the processes that are generated in the farm....
