Abstract:

This project arose from the need to determine the impact that would occur in a private company when selecting a new supplier to buy their products, mainly for companies that undertake the purchase of its products through a foreign supplier. The import process is not simple because it can demand more resources and generate high risks for companies engaged in this type of negotiation. Moreover, due to the current financial crisis the international market is more sensitive and unstable, which greatly harms the country's foreign trade. The aim of this project is to provide a viable solution for a company that imports and markets vehicles to perform a financial analysis and determine the most feasible option to import the vehicles, that is to say ,to change its current import process for another that would offers better benefits related to reduce costs and increase its market in Ecuador.
