Sistematización de Experiencia: Proceso de incidencia política de la Confederación de Nacionalidades Indígenas del Ecuador CONAIE con la propuesta de Estado Plurinacional en la Asamblea Nacional Constituyente, periodo 2007- 2008.

Abstract:

The document starts with a short conceptual framework. In the second chapter, it reconstructs the historical facts of the indigenous movement with the agenda of plurinationality in diverse sociopolitical scenarios, and in the third chapter, it analyzes the proposal and contents of the concept of plurinationality as conceived by the CONAIE and the 2008 Constituent Assembly in relation to the nature of the State, the political regime, the economical model, the rights and guarantees, which generated divergencies within the different political blocs in the Constituent National Assembly and society. Some sectors have declared themseleves against this proposal, arguing that it may cause the desintegration of the nation, generating parallel states within the National State, ignoring the diverse composition of the country.
