Social responsibility and community tourism in the Santa Elena province

Abstract:

The purpose of this work is to know the social responsibility (RS) practices associated with community tourism in the province of Santa Elena (Dos Mangas and Olón communes), identifying the legal, social, institutional and economic behavior of the three-dimensional model of Caroll (1991). The results show that in these locations the accumulated experience, political organization and good tourism practices prevail, constituting among other factors the explanation of the degree of social responsibility they have in the face of the sustainability of their communities.
