Socioeconomic and ecological assessment in the dynamics of fair trade of the users of the mangrove ecosystem


Abstract:

Mangrove ecosystems are an important part for the conservation and protection of the planet, because they provide important environmental services, in addition to being the ideal habitat for various plant and animal species (today in danger of extinction), many of these areas are They have been affected by the man who has unscrupulously exploited the environmental resources that it possesses. The objective of this research is to be able to carry out a socioeconomic and ecological assessment of fair trade in the users of the mangrove ecosystem in the Gulf of Guayaquil, as a tool to obtain the necessary data, the descriptive-exploratory method was used and as a tool to obtain the data, it was necessary to carry out surveys, with which it was possible to assess the needs of the mangrove communities.
