Socioeconomic profile of students entering the first semester of the ESPOCH Nutrition and Dietetics career and their perception of the mechanisms for assigning career places

Abstract:

Due to the university massification, it is necessary that the universities generate strategies to know the profile of their future students and be able to generate policies focused on reducing the desertion and failure rates. This work, shows the profile of the students of the first semester of Nutrition and Dietetics of the ESPOCH for the year 2018, This is a descriptive, quantitative and transversal evaluation, in which 68 students participated. Sociodemographic and economic aspects of the students were identified.
