Solving the degeneracy by a neutrino factory with polarized muon beam

Abstract:

The idea to solve the parameter degeneracies by using the combination of νe → νμ and ν̄μ → ν̄e is discussed. We here consider the polarized muon beam as the neutrino source in order to use the information of ν̄e appearance events. © 2006 Elsevier B.V. All rights reserved.
