Space-vector based, constant frequency, dead beat stator flux control of AC machines
Abstract:
This paper presents a simple inverter switching strategy that achieves dead-beat control of stator flux. In the proposed pbkp_redictive control scheme, the switching information is obtained directly from the error in flux. This approach is simpler than the methods of flux control in which a reference voltage vector is generated to obtain the inverter duty cycle. The distinct advantages of this scheme lie in achieving a constant switching frequency operation and excellent performance at low operating frequencies. Detailed theoretical concepts are developed in this paper and simulation and experimental results are provided.
