Spatio-temporal variability of biological and environmental parameters in the presence of warm conditions in the Eastern Equatorial Pacific, Niño 1+ 2.
Abstract:
PTA reveals better structure and high correlation between warm years, but low when associating species-environment STATICO (Interstructura). Better representation of the behavior of warm years (commitment). Under normal conditions, the southern seasons have high nutrient content in both seasons, phytoplankton abundance is stable throughout the coastal profile and most associate their abundance to average values in environmental variables; in extreme warm conditions, the dry season has low values in nutrients and high in temperature, oxygen and salinity, the highest abundance of the species was manifested during the rainy season and species that associate high abundance to values above the average in nutrients predominate Rhizosolenia imbricata, Ditylum brightwellii, Leptocylindrus danicus (centric), in high salinity values Nitzschia longissima, Pseudo-nitzschia pungens y Nitzschia sp (pennates) but low in temperature and oxygen (Trajectory). Skeletonema costatum y Chaetoceros curvisetus are associated with Puerto Bolívar (estuary) in the three years. d= 1
