State and Trait Anxiety in Biomedical students in Universities of Peru and Colombia 2018. Preventive strategies from the Tide Model
Abstract:
Objetive: To propose strategies from the Tide Model to prevent anxiety in the dimensions of state and trait in students of the Biomedical Area of Universities of Peru and Colombia. The Study: Cross-sectional and descriptive type, the STAI questionnaire was used, adapted to Peru by Rojas, it has the validity of judges a with the V Aiken index and reliability by Cronbach's Alpha of 0.923 in A / E and 0.886 in A / R. Absolute and relative frequencies were used for the statistical analysis. Findings: In state anxiety, 35.2% and 32.4% of biomedical students present some anxiety in Colombia and Peru, respectively, and in trait anxiety, 39.1% of Peruvians present some anxiety and 31.5% of Colombian students presented quite an anxiety. Conclusion: Comparatively, biomedical students at the University of Colombia have an anxiety level of 82.5% and that of Peru 78.9%.
