Strategic Plan Deployment Model as a Strategy Management System

Abstract:

The work proposes a business case analysis, under the application of the BSC and Kaizen model, relating a model of deployment of strategic plans based on relationships between strategies and projects. The model begins with the formulation of strategies, converts them and assigns them into individual work plans by area that are finally implemented through levels of management. Three types of levels are defined: managerial projects, internal projects, and kaizen projects, which are related both hierarchically and hierarchically; that is to say, the results of each one have a direct influence on all levels until the achievement of the strategies is achieve. A case study is presented in a manufacturing company that begins with the balanced scorecard and the relationships between strategies, a strategy map that expands the strategic objectives in the projects. The strategy implementation map is mentioned, which displays the strategies at managerial levels and finally the performance evaluation. The results allow demonstrating the successful application of the model since it is possible to relate strategies, work plans, and projects for effective implementation.
