Study of textile associativity in the canton antonio ante, province of imbabura


Abstract:

The research work analyzes the current situation of the textile associations of the Cantón Antonio Ante, posing organizational needs for production and marketing, which allows them to meet their objectives. The sample is made up of the leaders of six textile associations of the Canton Antonio Ante and 374 national and foreign tourists who visit Antonio Ante. The results obtained show that 58% of the textile associations have more than two years of operation, they present the organization established by the IEPS, their management is limited to complying with regulations for public procurement competitions, without considering marketing and commercialization strategies that allow it to have a share in the local market in the city of Atuntaqui. While 86% of the tourists who visit Atuntaqui are Ecuadorians, 60% of them do so regularly once or twice a year, 93% show interest in the consumption of products that benefit local vulnerable groups.
