Study of the benefits of having a Scientific Station in the Amazon in the Universities. Case: Central University of Ecuador

Abstract:

Due to the great biodiversity Ecuador has, there is in our country curiosity about nature and the environment. In the past, this concern has often not been stimulated and developed to the full due to the lack of both university-level careers and sources of work. However over the years the situation has changed gradually as the universities offer research programs which has as its main objective to contribute to the advancement of science in the country and secondly the scientific training of young researchers. It is important the contribution of Biological and / or Scientific Stations, since it is dedicated to study a wide range of ecosystems and their interrelations with man.
