Study of the Incidences of Decibels in the Cantonal Capital of the Province of Santa Elena with Measurement of Spectral Radiations

Abstract:

Electronic equipment in hospital areas or shopping centers emitting radiation waves, used by medical personnel, patients, or people in the environment, intercepts different signals. The radiation generated by this equipment causes damage to people exposed for long periods. This work presents the measurements and comparisons using solar radiation devices, sonometer, ultraviolet light, nuclear radiation detection, and radio frequency electromagnetic field intensity meter. The measurements are located in two mass attendance centers for the health and commercial area, within the province of Santa Elena, La Libertad, Ecuador. The MATLAB software allows the correct tabulation and development to compare the ranges within the parameters established by the World Health Organization (WHO). The tabulated results are above the permissible limit, such as solar radiation and noise level.
