Supply chain management in ecuadorian smes in the city of Ambato

Abstract:

For SMEs, it is important to manage the supply chain that links suppliers and customers with an adequate management system for greater added value. The research analyzes the supply chain management of SMEs in the city of Ambato from four dimensions: relationship with customers, suppliers, production system and innovation. The results indicate that SMEs, a larger size, have a greater link in the supply chain and a greater number of indicators in the dimensions evaluated. It is necessary to project a group of actions to SMEs in the city of Ambato that contributes to strengthening their supply chain management into the future.
