Synthesis at room temperature of mesoporous silicoaluminophosphate prepared using diferent surfactants

Abstract:

Silicoaluminophosphate mesoporous materials with irregular morphology were synthesized using two neutral surfactants (dodecylamine and hexadecylamine) and one cationic (hexadecyltrimethylammonium chloride) at room temperature. In this case, tetraethyl orthosilicate was used as silicon source, while aluminium isopropoxide and phosphoric acid were aluminium and phosphorous sources, respectively. The X-ray diffraction analysis at low angle showed diffraction patterns of a simple reflection for the calcined materials due to a high structural disorder originated from the isomorphic substitution of silicon, aluminium and phosphorous, which was evidenced by solid state 27Al- and 31P-NMR, showing predominant species with tetra-coordination. The textural results pointed out that all material had specific areas higher than 500 m2/g with type IV isotherms, characteristic of mesoporous material, without capillary condensation.
