Synthesis of linear array using Schelkunoff's method and genetic algorithms

Abstract:

The synthesis of radiation patterns of linear arrays using the Schelkunoff method and Genetic Algorithms (GAs) is presented. GAs permits the location of the roots on the complex w plane until the desired pattern is obtained. This technique is a powerful tool in the synthesis of complex radiation patterns.
