System of Communication, Modeling and Simulation of the Radar System at the Mariscal Lamar Airport in the City of Cuenca-Ecuador

Abstract:

In this article we present the modeling and simulation in MATLAB of the radar system under different conditions and characteristic parameters in the Airport Corporation of Cuenca, the company in charge of administering the Mariscal la Mar Airport dedicated to providing airport services. The radar system is responsible for monitoring the transit of aircraft in the airspace, a system that provides security, order and provide pilots with instructions and necessary information within the airspace of their jurisdiction, with the aim of preventing collisions, mainly between aircraft and obstacles in the maneuvering area.
