System of perception of the community adjacent to the binational technical training center zapotepamba, about tourism


Abstract:

The research stems from a research project of the National University of Loja, for the Zapotepamba Binational Technical Training Center (CBFTZ), where it seeks the sustainable development of the center through comprehensive landscape management. On the other hand, the research aims to know the perception of the inhabitants of the adjacent communities about tourism, since being close to the (CBFTZ) are the direct hosts of the possible positive or negative impacts that such activity may produce. For the development of the research, methodologies with a qualitative and quantitative approach had to be used, in addition to these approaches, formal and informal surveys and interviews were used to perceive the reaction and opinion, in addition, the matrix of attitudes and behavior towards tourism was used. Aims to develop. The comments of the interviewees were positive since they stated that through these projects they could improve their economy and therefore reactivate and develop capacities and skills to improve service delivery.
