System of specific exercises for the improvement of specific resistance in the execution of the judo technique of ippon seoi nage

Abstract:

This research focuses on the design of an exercise system for the improvement of specific resistance during the execution of the ippon seoi nage technique. The research approach is experimental, with two judo professors from Salina Grumetes Superior School participating in it, as well as a sample of 79 groups and 15 experts; for the experimental phase, 25 groups were selected intentionally; scientific observation, interviews, modeling, testing, measurement, descriptive statistics, expert criteria, and pre-experiment in research dynamics were used. The diagnosis evidenced difficulties that were taken into account for the elaboration of the proposal, which was evaluated by experts who agreed on its structural and formal quality; the intervention process was based on one research hypothesis and two statistical hypotheses focused on the following variables: effectiveness and technical performance. To assess them, changes in the specific resistance or lactate potency, as well as the effectiveness of the execution of the ippon seoi nage technique, were evaluated; for data comparison, non-parametric test of Wilcoxon was used. There was a significant improvement (p = 0.00) in lactate power (H1) as well as in cams’ performance during the execution of the technique (H2). As a result, Hi is confirmed, the result of which is lower than the established value. Therefore, it is possible to state that the proposed exercise system improves specific resistance in the execution of the ippon seoi nage technique.
