Systematic Mapping on Embedded Semantic Markup Validated with Data Mining Techniques
Abstract:
The lack of structured information in the Web does not enable search engines to present accurate information in search results. Some technologies have arisen to produce structured data, including embedded semantic markup that aims to improve the quality and significance of the information exhibit in search results. An indicator of the success of a technology is the interest of researchers to address its particularities. To this end, in this work, we conducted a systematic mapping of research articles published into the embedded semantic markup field to expose the maturity of this technology. Moreover, the novelty of this systematic mapping is the use of data mining techniques aimed to confirm the topic-specific categorization conducted by the expert human regarding the research articles presented in this mapping.
