Systematic analysis during 2000 to 2017 about ebola virus disease
Abstract:
Ebola virus is an ARN pleomorphic virus, that causes an hemorrhagic lethal contagious fever with mortality of 50 to 90%. Now exist few options to treat this illness, there are under evaluation and the compassionate use is indicated. The objective of this article is to realize a systematic review of medical literature about viral infection by Ebola in order to precise definition, epidemiology, etiological factors, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis. It include revision of data base PUBMED, ProQuest, EMBASE, REDALYC, OVID, MEDLINE, DYNAMED y CLINICAL KEY during the period 2000-2017 and the Informs by WHO and OPS, during 2014 to 2016. We apply two models to combine the results statistically: fixed effects model and random model. It permit resume important elements about clinical diagnosis and treatment, in order to obtain a synthetic and didactic resume to permit our professionals to appropriate the necessary competence for clinical diagnosis and treatment of this illness, to avoid sub diagnosis and to prevent complications and develop strategies about prevention and early diagnosis of this pathology.
