Síndrome de Burnout y factores de estrés asociados en el personal médico y de enfermería de la Clínica de Especialidades Latinoamericana
Abstract:
Background: The medical and nursing staff of the public and private hospitals in the nation have an extra dose of stress. This situation only prorogues an imbalance in the economical budget that covers the cost of healthcare of employees and workers. None the less this will trigger a lower social and professional development leaving the workforce on a stand still. The current study analyses the relationship between psychosocial factors in the work place as well as the effects in the health of health care workers. General Objective: We have determined the presence of the Burnout Syndrome and the multiple factors of stress levels in the clinical and medical staff of Latin American Clinic. We also discover some factors post Burnout Syndrome and side effects of this sickness. Inscription and Materials: We conducted a transversal and correlational case study with the Maslach questioner. We also brought into the case study the Seppo Aro questioner. On top of these two questioners we created a sociodemographic questioner for better results. Results: As expected we obtained results in three levels of the Burnout Syndrome: Emotional, Decustomization, and personal realization. These were the more frequent factors to show over and over on our case study, nonetheless there is a direct relation with some sociodemographic in our case study.
