Síndrome de Burnout y su relación con el apoyo emocional en médicos/as y enfermeras en un centro privado ubicado en el centro sur de la ciudad de Loja durante el año 2016-2017
Abstract:
Burnout syndrome and its relation with emotional support in physicians and nurses in a private center located in the south center of the city of Loja during the year 2016-2017. The objective of the present investigation was to identify the prevalence of the syndrome and its three dimensions (emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, low realization) and the relation with the emotional support, 40 health professionals (20 doctors and 20 nurses) were evaluated for the data collection instruments were applied (AD HOC, MBI-HSS, GHQ-28, BRIEF-COPE, MOS AND EPQR-A). The overall objective was to identify the prevalence of burnout syndrome and its relation to emotional support. For the collection of the information of this study instruments (AD HOC, MBI-HSS, GHQ-28, BRIEF-COPE, MOS and EPQR-A) were applied. The methodological process presented quantitative, non-experimental, transactional, descriptive and correlational characteristics. As for the dimensions of burnout, the physicians presented high levels: emotional exhaustion of 10% and depersonalization of 20%, and low levels of burnout in the professionals (doctors and nurses). : 25% of the nurses showed a high level of emotional exhaustion: 25% and depersonalization, 25%, and low levels: personal fulfillment 30%. The relationship between emotional support and depersonalization showed a significant correlation between these variables, r (40) = -.312, p = .050 and with the personal realization r (40) = .465, p = .003.
