THE GAMIFICATIÓN LIKE STRATEGY OF TEACHING LEARNING IN HIGHER EDUCATION


Abstract:

The gamification consists in the application of concepts of video games or other activities related to games to develop the process of teaching intervening learning the job of a variety of components of the game that they provide motivational accessibility to the students. In the process of teaching learning of the race Pedagogy of the Physical Activity and Sports of Guayaquil’s University, has identified him a difficult situation correlated with the establishment of didactic strategies of gamification based in Information Technologies and the Communication for the subject of study Theory and Practice of the Games. An investigating process that you hold like general objective to take effect and validating a mediated strategy of gamification for a technological platform that the students’ academic performance contribute to getting better has opened out in mail. As from a design of investigation not experimental, transverse with reach correlational, they describe the effects of the independent variables in the clerks. The results proved that the students that have a level of digital advanced competition have favorable perceptions toward the incorporation of the strategy of gamification at the classroom; However, those that have levels of digital basic competition show unfavorable perceptions, which makes it possible to support than the use of the gamification like strategy of teaching learning achieves positive effects as to the construction of the new knowledge, in the one that the development of different competitions implicates itself in and they conceive favorable perceptions toward the integration of the gamification at the classroom.
