THE INTEREST OF THE CHILD IN FAMILY REUNIFICATION

Abstract:

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the interest of the child in family reunification. After a brief general introduction to the subject, the present research work studies the migratory factor and its relationship with family reunification. Subsequently, family reunification in the legislation is analyzed. Regarding the interest of the child, the unity and separation of the children are studied. Likewise, the preponderance of the economic factor or the emotional factor in the application of this legal figure is analyzed. Likewise, the integration of the child in the host country is studied. Finally, it concludes with a series of conclusions base on the subject studied. For this purpose, both analytical, interpretative and comparative methods are used in this research paper.
