Análisis narrativo y estético de los libros álbum del ilustrador ecuatoriano Marco Chamorro
Abstract:
This Narrative and aesthetic analysis of the illustrated books of the Ecuadorian author, Marco Chamorro is and study that would try to identify the main motifs, the intertextuality, the application of the visual language and techniques, the aesthetic choices and style of the author. The books that will be reviewed are Segundo acto, Felini, Mestre Wilson y Quiero ese beso. Four illustrated books that the express the desire of their main characters to achieve freedom through art. These books speak about universal topics, such as: love, passion, learning in life, the pain of being marginal, and the sublimation of all suffering trough art. This study shows detailed comparisons and interpretations of each work to conclude that the author experienced a growth that goes hand in hand, with the evolution of the characters of the books that he has created with great courage and love.
