TO EVALUATE AND TO SUBSTITUTE COMMERCIAL ENZYMES FOR NATIVE ONES FROM THE UNIVERSITY: AN INTANGIBLE FOR THE LOCAL DEVELOPMENT

Abstract:

The essence of one of the extensionists functions of the university, resides in to share the knowledge and to foment the permanent dialogue with all the actors of the society. It is the receiver of an arsenal of information that taken advantage of in an efficient way, it can contribute to the social development, purpose that becomes their fundamental objective and reason on that it bases its relevancy. It has been proven that the effectiveness in the unlignification of the trash (cellulignitic mass) is much bigger in the enzymatic hydrolysis, when avoiding the use of big quantities of energy and chemical products that urge in a general way the hydrolytic processes. This condition locates them in an advantageous position when allowing the saccharification of the present cellulose in the lignocellulitic residuals, with the objective of obtaining by this way a variety of chemical products.
