Taxis eléctricos en la ciudad de Loja-Ecuador

Abstract:

This investigative work, exposes the experience of the first year of operation of the service of 51 electric taxis in the city of Loja, whose cost of operation and maintenance per vehicle is USD $0.24/km, consuming the entire fleet 1.1 GWh a year, equivalent to 1.5% of renewable energy, produced by the city's wind farm. Replacing a gasoline taxi with another electric can prevent the emission of 13.5 tons of CO2 per year.
