Teacher training in the process of change and innovation in education


Abstract:

The objective of the study was to carry out a bibliographic review on the impact that teacher training has on the process of change and innovation in education. This research was based on the documentary analysis technique for which several databases were used, such as Google Scholar, Dialnet, Redalyc and Scielo, guided by the keywords educational innovation, change, innovation and educational innovation, educational change, innovation, where they reviewed selected 150 scientific articles indexed in English and Spanish, the following exclusion criteria were applied: articles between the years 2000 and 2022, descriptive and theoretical reviews e. Information that did not contribute to the investigation; leaving 36 documents for the development of the study. The results show that the innovations implemented in the educational centers can be successful if the teachers are trained, motivated to make a positive contribution to the continuation of the process. It is concluded that an innovative educational institution must have a plan that enables change in education, allowing professionals to acquire training that allows them to participate in the processes of educational innovation since the heart of innovation is to raise the academic results of students. students.
