Teaching Physics Using Information Technology


Abstract:

In the current higher education system, teachers must simultaneously serve students with different cognitive development, abilities and learning rhythms. These conditions hinder the learning process. This article aims to improve students' understanding of physics concepts by developing and using computer experiments programmed by the students. The service of such experiments allows for individualizing the learning process, allowing students to study the subject in depth and develop essential skills. This strategy allows each student to work independently, and the learning level of the weaker students increases; without the stronger students being neglected. This increases students' interest in physics and confidence that they can learn the topics addressed.
