Teamwork and leadership styles, their relationship with decision making in the organization: a review
Abstract:
This research analyzes the relationship between teamwork-leadership styles-decisions making. This relationship was qualitatively determined through the interpretive hermeneutic method. The results reveal linearity in some models of decision making and the concentration of the process in a person. Two trends are presented: individual decision making (hierarchical leadership) and team decision making (participative leadership). It is concluded that the application of one or another trend will depend on the circumstances (situational leadership).
