Technological Resources for Neuropsychological Rehabilitation
Abstract:
Neuropsychological rehabilitation is a high complexity process that involves returning the functionality lost to a patient with acquired brain damage. In this context, technological development provides several possibilities for the stimulation of various brain functions involved in cognitive processing and behavioral regulation of a patient. For this reason, these types of treatments, including technological input, allow the patient to improve their levels of motivation and performance of neuropsychological rehabilitation activities. This article reviews some technological devices that provide improvements in the context of neuropsychology for the care of patients with acquired brain damage.
