Technological innovation intheclassification and storage of corn: Impacton animal feed

Abstract:

Maize is a very important grass in the diet of humans and animals, besides being an ingbkp_redient used as an energetic supplement in cattle, hence the importance of storage for subsequent drying in the companies dedicated to this processing in The Ecuador. The objective of this work was to evaluate the proposed implementation of a humidity sensor to optimize the process of reception, classification and storage of the grass, which will allow storage in the different silos according to the percentage determined, providing the entry of the same to the next Stable conditions. Statistical control charts of individual readings were used for the calculation of the process capability index and the methodology used. The values of the indicators that were obtained were of 1,062; 1.043 and 1.058; And the average moisture obtained was (16.65, 25.41 and 31.33)% in silos 1, 2 and 3, respectively. It was concluded that the test of normality hypothesis and indices of process capacity obtained express that the input of the maize to the respective silos have an appropriate distribution and is under control, therefore the implementation of the humidity sensor and automatic diverter allowed to store the grain in The silos destined for the fixed ranges, optimizing the process and affecting a homogeneous and stable drying.
