Technological resources for distance learning in Spain: A comparison and implementation

Abstract:

The implementation of the European Higher Education Area (EHEA) has produced a revolution in the traditional way of the university education is done. In the new paradigm, the evaluation of the work carried out by the student in a continuous way conduct us to the use of technological resources for supervising the activities carried out in particular, off the classroom. Such resources are known as e-learning platforms (distance learning). All Spanish universities have implemented (or are started to implement) this kind of e-learning systems, so in this work a detailed revision of the characteristics of the different platforms in the Spanish university area is shown. © IEEE.
