Technological solution to improve security in the transportation of products through electronic devices


Abstract:

The transportation company TRANSPEQUE from Quevedo County, does not have a geolocation and security system to access the cargo, this leads to put the product at risk and not to take advantage of the resources that the transportation demands in an efficient way. The above conditions as a research problem the following: How to ensure the control and mo-nitoring process, as well as the closing and opening of gates in cargo transportation of the company TRANSPEQUE, using different devices and current communication technologies to monitor this activity? The objective is: To design a technological solution to increase security levels and efficiency of the resources used in the transportation of products, using electronic devices compatible with the existing telecommunications networks. In this development, observation was used as a quan-titative methodology using the inductive method and as a data collection technique. The results are a reduction in the time for delivery and reception of cargo, as well as the non-existence of loss of transport due to the security implemented through tracking and the convenience of the low cost of equipping transport with satellite tracking and security gates.
