Abstract:

The 4th International Conference on Technology Trends (CITT 2018) was held on the main campus of Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo (UTB), Ecuador, during August 29–31, 2018, and it was jointly organized and supported by three recognized Ecuadorian institutions: Universidad Técnica de Babahoyo, Universidad Politécnica Salesiana, and Universidad de Cuenca. The CITT series of conferences aim to become the premier venue for research on technology trends. It brings together top researchers and practitioners working in different domains in the field of computer science and information systems to exchange their expertise and to discuss the perspectives of development and collaboration in these areas. The purpose of CITT is to facilitate technology and knowledge exchange among researchers, academics, and industry so as to benefit from the advances in computing technologies. The content of this volume is related to the following subjects:
