Technology to manage science and innovation in universities

Abstract:

The management of science and innovation in the universities is important to satisfy the technological demands of society; however, this process presents theoretical, methodological and practical limitations that imply their improvement. The objective of the study was to propose a systemic, flexible, participatory and proactive technology of management for science and innovation in the universities. Theoretical and empirical methods were used, and a study of unique case was developed. The main results were the conceptualization of a studied process, the foundation of their theoretical and methodological platform, and a technology for its management. The application of technology in a cuban university corroborated its effectiveness through significant improvement of results in the evaluated indicators.
