Tele-detection system for the automatic sensing of the state of the cardiovascular functions in situ

Abstract:

In the present work, a tele-detection system was designed for the evaluation of the cardiovascular state of people whose work requires prolonged sessions of computer use in office areas. This group of people was chosen for their reduced physical activity compared to people from other work activities. Such working conditions, together with the daily stresses, increase the risk factors for developing heart disease. Many of these diseases do not show symptoms until late stages, when even fatalities can be generated. Therefore, the monitoring of the functional state of health is an important task and the methods and tools that allow its evaluation are of permanent scientific interest.
