Temporal analysis and forecast of the ICT use, employing teaching evaluation data of a higher education institution

Abstract:

Among the main problems faced by academic systems in Higher Education Institutions (HEI) is information security, the processes carried out generate sensitive data and in many cases, these systems lack a correct audit of events in their records. There are solutions for auditing, but they allow a generic implementation, which is not very clear at the time of making a change control. In this work we propose the development of a customized algorithm to collect relevant data and generate logs tables, to later audit and show changes that are generated with the records of the table. The execution of the algorithm was very satisfactory, log tables were generated that show complete information of changes in a record of the selected table or tables. With this information, the system administrators make timely decisions avoiding that the information is altered, guaranteeing its integrity.
