Análisis para la selección de transformadores de distribución, en la ciudad de Latacunga, propuesta de aplicación de un método de selección basado en curvas de eficiencia energética, para la disminución de pérdidas energéticas.

Abstract:

The present work has the purpose of proposing an alternative for the selection of transformation equipment in the distribution networks of the Empresa Elétrica Provincial Cotopaxi S.A., the same one that is focused on reducing the losses of electric energy. The proposal is based on determining the interval at which the distribution transformers work with the lowest energy losses, in order to have a selection criterion in the projected distribution networks and in the distribution networks in operation. Chapter 1, contains all the guidelines and theories investigated by other authors, whose conclusions and results have guided the research to the end of it. Chapter 2 indicates the techniques and methodologies used for the collection of information and processing of the same, using computer tools developed and complying with established procedures, to find truthful results. Chapter 3, shows the results of the modelling of each of the data obtained, and indicates the current conditions in which the distribution system of the Empresa Elétrica Provincial Cotopaxi S.A. is located, thus having a The present work has the purpose of proposing an alternative for the selection of transformation equipment in the distribution networks of the Empresa Elétrica Provincial Cotopaxi S.A., the same one that is focused on reducing the losses of electric energy. Chapter 4 describes the proposal where the solutions are given to several abnormal conditions found in the transformers installed in the distribution system of the Empresa Elétrica Provincial Cotopaxi S.A. and points out alternatives to minimize energy losses in the modelled system.
