The 4r of plastic as a multipurpose project for the santo domingo canton


Abstract:

The "4R” of plastic as a multipurpose project for the Santo Domingo Canton, was born from the identification of a real problem existing in the whole community, referring to the treatment of plastic waste as common garbage. The objective was to design an educational campaign, directed to the population of Santo Domingo in reference to the "4Rs”, of collecting, reducing, reusing and recycling, with this to achieve an adequate management of the solid waste derived from plastic. There are five specific objectives, which will become the spaces for research, the same that go to the diagnosis, action plan, implementation, evaluation and resources all complement each other to achieve the end or purpose of the study. The research modality is qualitative - quantitative. The expected results are that all the population involved in the project will see the multidisciplinary benefits that it has of social, political, ecological, environmental, economic, and entrepreneurial order. Finally, the conclusion that was obtained from the investigation is that it managed to corroborate with the existence of the mentioned problem and to have the viability and feasibility of the possible solution that has been proposed.
