The Influence of the Training Received in the Production and Dissemination of Audiovisual Content in Adolescents in Ibero-America

Abstract:

One of the pillars of adolescent education is the construction of identity; in this sense, online audiovisual platforms -such as YouTube-, exert an outstanding influence, by becoming meeting points for young people with similar concerns and points of view. In this non-experimental study, with a correlational scope and a quantitative approach, we have conducted a survey of 3,195 adolescents from Brazil, Colombia, Spain, Mexico, Peru and Portugal. In the results, we contrast the general hypothesis, that is, the existence of an indirect effect of the influence in the making or production of videos, on the dissemination of audiovisual products, from the mediation exerted by the training received and the moderation of the type of educational center to which the young people consulted are assigned.
