The Methodological Workshop on Collaborative Learning: a Profile of Teachers’ Professional Development at Quevedo State Technical University


Abstract:

The continuous training of teachers is important to renew knowledge and to be aware of the latest trends in academic activity, especially for professionals from other areas that are dedicated to the exercise of teaching. The work deals with an analysis of the teacher training process in the State Technical University of Quevedo, Ecuador. From a qualitative methodology, based on the methods of analysis and synthesis, and inductive deductive, an applied and descriptive research is integrated. The objective pursued is to establish the importance of the collaborative work methodological workshop as a profile of the continuing education of teachers.
