The Prioritization of External Security as a Means of Guaranteeing Multidimensional Security and Economic Growth

Abstract:

Security represents a complex concept that pragmatically seeks to define actions to reach stability in territorial established spaces. In this context, the present work shows an up-to-date analysis of security both from the external point of view as well as from the multidimensional one, establishing, in this way, security levels of priority. For this, the reach of a security application is verified by taking into account as reference historic occurrences from World War I (WWI) to our days. The obtained results show that external security has a greater relevance relative to other types of security, which have allowed, among other aspects, to guarantee the survival of states and their populations. Moreover, the carried-out study allows us to infer that external security incentives economic growth, the same that propitiated the increase of economic welfare of certain world powers based, in effect, on a war economy.
