Abstract:

Humanity due to its need to expand its horizons, and had to create means of transportation, which will serve to mobilize and commercialize with other peoples. Guayas Basin was not the exception and its ancient habitants transformed elements into the mean of transport, that make Spanish conquers feel amazed when they arrived in this land. The rafts have been the mean more used for increasing the resident's economic, but actually they have been forgotten, so, for this reason some touristic activities are looking for potentiate the rafts.
