The corporate governance principles of the organization for economic cooperation and development. Its application at the tsÁchila higher technological institute

Abstract:

Corporate Governance (GC) has focused primarily on the business context. However, more and more, concern about this issue has been transferred to public entities and as part of these to institutes and universities in search of new management methods that guarantee greater efficiency, effectiveness, and an improvement in transparency and accountability. In this context, the objective of this work is to analyze the principles of CG and its contribution to achieving corporate management and leadership that favors the achievement of the mission of the Tsáchila Superior Technological Institute of Santo Domingo in Ecuador.
