A contribution to the bryoflora of Pitcairn and Austral Islands groups

Abstract:

We report the mosses collected in two expeditions to Pitcairn Islands and French Polynesia between 1991 and 2001. The list includes 33 mosses. Of special interest are Ectropothecium venustulum, found in Raivavae Island, and Macromitrium tahitisecundum, from Pitcairn Island, which were previously considered endemics to Tahiti. © 2008 Adac.
